Public Wi-Fi provider will think about portal when we talk about Wi-Fi internet gateway. The portal they think about here is the landing page. Or some people like to call it captive portal. Or guest portal. This portal must full of advertisement feed the Wi-Fi user with ton of information (or should I said rubbish?). In their mind internet gateway shall have that kind of ability to deliver contents rich portal.
When they are very happy discussing the advertisement portal they forgot one things. How should I provide a usable complimentary free Wi-Fi to attract visitor in my luxury portal? Here's the point. A good web developer can write a very good html or any web code to advertise the portal but how we ensure the Wi-Fi service is usable and attract the guest to watch the so call portal?
